Katie Langlois and has been an educator with Ascentria Care Alliance’s SNAP-Ed Program for a little over a year. She studied Nutrition at Holyoke Community College and completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Maine in 2012. Previously, Katie worked as a Nutritionist for WIC for 3.5 years. Her favorite part of working for SNAP-Ed is interacting with all different ages, teaching simple nutrition education, and being able to show participants different recipes by cooking healthy meals and snacks. Katie is grateful for the opportunity to integrate one of her favorite hobbies, cooking, into a career.
