Our Favorite Hiking Trails in Massachusetts

Central Massachusetts

The Cascade Falls Loop Trail – Bring your pets along for this scenic walk that runs along a beautiful waterfall.

West Fitchburg Steamline Trail – This gravel trail can be easily biked or walked, and is a little over a half-mile long.

Callahan State Park – This state park includes 19 different hiking trails where you can run, bike, or take a relaxed walk with your family and friends.

Western Massachusetts

Pittsfield State Forest – This state park has nine great hiking trails for beginner and advanced hikers. Remember to grab a trail map!

Connecticut Riverwalk and Bikeway – Take a walk, bike, or break out the roller-skates for this paved river walk that runs along the scenic Connecticut River.

Rocky Mountain Park – This trail is a local favorite in Greenfield. This rocky trail can be a bit harder on your feet so if you have a pair of boots, this may be the trail to wear them.

Eastern Massachusetts

Charles River Reservation – This 20-mile reservation is great for a family walk or a relaxing and healthy outdoor picnic!
