SNAP-Ed Programming is Ending

Due to the federal government shutdown, November SNAP benefits may be unavailable. If you have questions regarding November SNAP benefits, please visit this web page: https://www.mass.gov/info-details/november-2025-snap-updates

SNAP-Ed is funded through a federal grant that is issued every year. Unfortunately, for this fiscal year (which started October 1, 2025), new funding has not been granted to any SNAP-Ed programs nationwide. In Massachusetts, there is some unused funding from last fiscal year that can be carried forward into the current year. This means that Massachusetts SNAP-Ed programming will continue until this funding runs out. However, everything SNAP-Ed related will close down by September 30, 2026, which is the end of the fiscal year.

This website, MASNAPEd.org, is just one of the Commonwealth’s SNAP-Ed programs. Nutrition classes, school gardens, and food pantry support are some of the other things MA SNAP-Ed does. With the remaining limited funding we have, this website will continue operating for several months. Continue checking this site for more updates and to learn how you will be able to access these resources once this website no longer has SNAP-Ed funding support.
